Enhancing Transparency and Efficiency: Streamlining Appointment Processes

Advisor Pawan Kotwal led a crucial discussion concerning the issuance of appointment orders related to select lists issued by the Staff Selection Commission. Stressing the importance of swift action, he highlighted that results had been declared for 481 out of 562 posts. To ensure transparency and widespread information, he directed concerned officers to conduct weekly press conferences, as appointment orders had already been issued for eligible candidates.

During the meeting, Advisor Kotwal and relevant officers delved into the appointment process, scrutinization procedures, and the delegation of authority. The Administrative Secretary was authorized to sign appointment orders on behalf of the administrative authority, ensuring the process’s efficiency.

Advisor Kotwal further instructed each department to establish a dedicated cell responsible for providing regular updates through these weekly press conferences. Additionally, a specific day was allocated for the review of appointment orders, promoting accountability and timely action.

The meeting also encompassed discussions on district recruitment, focusing on addressing challenges and concerns related to ongoing recruitment efforts. Advisor Dr. Pawan Kotwal, accompanied by Principal Secretary, Secretaries, and pertinent officers and officials, actively participated in these discussions, addressing problems and streamlining the recruitment process.
