Following the successful completion of a one-month frame embroidery training program with 20 women participants from various parts of the region, Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Kargil-1 has launched a new one-month skill development program focused on tailoring on January 6.
The training program began on January 2 at the KVK’s Kurbathang campus, continuing the center’s efforts to empower women and enhance their livelihoods. The initiative is designed to provide farm women with valuable skills to support their economic independence.
Dr. Nasreen Fatima Kacho inaugurated the program and warmly welcomed the trainees. In her address, she emphasized that empowering women in the region remains her top priority. She also outlined the center’s key mandates and assured the trainees of her full commitment to achieving this goal.
Training coordinator, Dr. Mansoor Hussain, shared the objectives of the program and encouraged the participants to engage fully and make the most of the learning opportunities provided.
