Kukshow Village Hosts Week-Long Cultural Revival Workshop and Language Awareness Camp

On February 23, the LAHDC, Kargil and the Ladakh Cultural Academy Kargil concluded a week-long cultural revival workshop and language awareness camp at Kukshow village. The event was graced by Mohsin Ali, Executive Councilor for Health of LAHDC Kargil, who emphasized the importance of preserving Ladakh’s unique socio-cultural heritage and promoting its rich culture and language.

The workshop had 46 participants and four experts in attendance. Kukshow village is well-known in Ladakh for its distinctive cultural identity, traditions, and sense of community.

During the event, EC Mohsin Ali and officers of BSNL Kargil also announced plans to identify locations for the installation of mobile towers, with a focus on villages like Pachari, Kukshow, and Dargoo of Shakar Chiktan sub-division, to improve connectivity.

The closing ceremony was attended by village representatives and the general public. This program is expected to boost Ladakh’s cultural heritage and ensure its preservation for future generations.
