Amit Sharma, Administrative Secretary of the Information Technology Department for UT Ladakh, convened a crucial meeting on July 10 to discuss and strategize key aspects of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity in the region. Present at the meeting were Deputy Director General (DDG) and State Coordinator for NIC Ladakh, along with senior officers from NIC J&K.
The agenda of the meeting focused on critical areas such as cybersecurity, network operations, security operations, network enhancement, and integration with online platforms like UMANG, Digi Locker, and e-Office.
Underlining the importance of robust cybersecurity measures, Amit Sharma urged the NIC J&K team to replicate successful services in Ladakh, emphasizing seamless connectivity and efficient data management.
“The secure delivery of online services relies heavily on robust cybersecurity,” emphasized IT Secretary Amit Sharma. He encouraged the NIC J&K team to implement successful models from J&K in Ladakh to ensure efficient connectivity and data management.
Amit Sharma highlighted that this strategic meeting signifies a significant advancement in bolstering Ladakh’s IT infrastructure and ensuring secure online service delivery. He underscored the development’s goal to strengthen UT Ladakh’s digital landscape, providing efficient, secure, and citizen-centric services.
The meeting was attended by the DDG & State Coordinator for NIC Ladakh, State Informatics Officer for NIC Ladakh and J&K, Director and OIC of NIC Ladakh, senior officials from NIC J&K, NIC scientists, IT managers, and relevant stakeholders.
