Three-day playwright and play production workshop put by the Ladakh Academy of Skill, Culture and ‘languages’, Leh, in effort with the Office of School Training, Ladakh concluded at Lotsava Auditorium Lounge on, may nineteen.
The objective of the workshop is to formulate the body, speech and head of the students using Theatre in Education (TiE) as a mode of education and carry out it in the training of system.
Padma Shri awardee Morup Namgail spoke and shared tips about scriptwriting and playwriting, whereas cinema personality Sonam Stobgais, a finish the National School of Drama (NSD) chatted on play generation. Actor, Phunsok Ladakhi spoke on play production and operating and Sangeet Natak Akademi Puraskar awardee Mipham Otsal was also one of the resource folks who gave training on theatre and story making to the participants.
Cinema artists and two teachers each from different schools of Leh, namely Government High School, Sakti; Govt High University, Thiksey; Govt Substantial School, Housing Nest; Govt High University, Chumathang; Govt Better Secondary School, Chuchot Shamma; Govt Young boys Higher Secondary University, Leh; Govt Young ladies Higher Secondary University, Leh; Ladakh Community School; Lamdon Unit Senior Secondary University; Druk Padma University; Islamia Public University and Mahabodhi Household School took part in the three-day training. Members from Ladakh Theatre Enterprise were present during the workshop.
Typically the selected school would participate in the Children Theatre Festivity to be organised in July later this year.
